Eco Resort, Mohda, Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary
The Eco Resort at Mohda in Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is another premier property of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board. Inaugurated just some time back, this delightful resort is located in thick forests facing a beautiful lake. The beautiful designing of the rooms offers excellent chance for the visitors to spot wildlife right from their bedrooms. With plush wooden interiors and luxurious bathrooms, the rooms at the resort are very comfortable. The best part about the resort is that it is completely based on solar power.
This eco resort at Mohda is situated just 9 kms from the “Bar” entry gate of the sanctuary and provides an excellent getaway for the tourists. Barnawapara Sanctuary is known for leopards and is also famous for rich bio diversity. Eco Resort at Mohda is just 90 kms from Raipur. While being based at this resort you can also cover the nearby archaeological destination of Sirpur, Turturiya and Narayanpur. There are 12 rooms at the resort. Along with a restaurant, the resort also offers a spacious elevated sit out (Machan) for viewing of wild life across the lake.
